4. Sociological Forest Symposium

On 08.-09.10.2026, the 4th German symposium for social scientists working on forests took place in Frankfurt am Main. It was a rich and diverse couple of days of pitches and shared discussion. Among other things, we discussed care and conflicts in forests and - with my new team from the Cluster of Excellence Future Forests - the complexity of decision-making for future forests.
